Research Engineer (Python Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence Music). Start–up software house that is producing a revolutionary music technology is seeking a Research Engineer with a passion for music. You'll join a team comprised of technologists, composers and producers; as a Research Engineer you will research and develop new approaches to algorithmic composition using machine learning, artificial intelligence and hands–on Python development. This will involve conceiving, implementing and improving mathematical systems within the artificial intelligence code base as well as developing prototypes and proof of concept demonstrations.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your love of programming with your passion for music to deliver cutting–edge technical products to wow the music industry. The company has recently been listed in Wired's Top 100 Start–ups and Tech Crunch Disruptive Start–ups and has secure backing.

Requirements:
*Indepth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
*Strong Python coding skills, ideally also some C++ although not essential
*Good understanding of music composition and music theory
*Degree educated, 2.1 or above

As a Research Engineer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to GBP80k, Dependent on skill set and depth of knowledge) plus equity.
