I have unique opportunity for (x5) Java developers at all levels to join a pro-active team and build the next generation Artificial Intelligence platform for a leading publishing group.
You will be starting a new project that will digitize the worlds most extensive collection of scientific research to enhance product with richer Data Analytics and Natural Language Processing for a new master data management system.
This technology uses NLP and machine learning to reveal insight from large amounts of unstructured data, it is expected to solve some of the worlds most complex problems.
This is a real opportunity to work with some of the greatest machine learning + data experts in Europe and contribute to the Science community.
Ideal Profile

• Background of programming using Java or Scala with demonstrable commercial experience.
• AWS experience
• Web Services, XML, schemas
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Development
• ETL Development
• Agile, TDD. BDD
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence and/or Continuous Integration
• Experienced in Datamodelling
  

• Able to maintain good relationships with the business, internal teams and external partners.
• Confident technologist that drives innovation
  

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Big Data Technologies (Sqoop, elastic search, Kafka, Spark, Hive)
• Experience working with Data & Integration Teams
