Currently seeking an Artificial Intelligence Engineer to work in a team of specialists, engineers and scientists dedicated to designing, developing and deploying advanced intelligent and automated systems. The candidate will work with the practical industrial applications of artificial intelligence planning and decision making technologies, probabilistic state estimation, and cognitive architectures for complex systems.
Successful Artificial Intelligence Engineers have expertise in artificial intelligence planning technologies, automated planning, scheduling and execution, and in system integration and hardware and software systems architecture. With the ability to develop, understand and implement complex software sub systems they are capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements decision making sub-systems within industrial human-machine automation systems.
• Analyzes domain problems and identifies, adapts and develops core decision making technologies to address them.
• Analyzes technologies applicable to decision management systems from fields of artificial intelligence planning, automated and autonomous systems.
• Evaluates and develops probabilistic state estimation techniques relevant to decision making automated systems.
• Prototypes, evaluates and references implementation of novel decision making and state estimation techniques.
• Supports the senior technical team in the creation of a technical roadmap for the advanced technologies stack.
• Supports the engineering team in understanding technologies and oversees their implementation.
• Supports and participates in technology transfers from technical collaboration projects in areas of planning under uncertainty, robotics and cognitive systems.
• Liaises between R&D and field operations to promote appropriate decision making technologies.
  

Qualifications

• PhD in artificial intelligence with ideally two years post-doctoral experience.
• Minimum two years’ industrial experience. CANNOT be all Educational Experience
• A proven record of technical writing and mentoring.
